The Parrot Hydrofoil NewZ minidrone is a hybrid drone combining air and water! The Parrot Hydrofoil NewZ minidrone is a remarkable hybrid drone combining air and water! Start the engines of the Parrot Hydrofoil NewZ , and the high articulated quadcopter section positions itself vertically in relation to the structure of the boat. Thanks to the minidrone's four powerful propellers, the Hydrofoil NewZ glides over the water and stays about 5-6 cm above the surface with incredible stability and agility. As water resistance is reduced, the Parrot Hydrofoil drone can reach a maximum speed of 10 km/h and turn in a flash without capsizing. It is recommended to use the Hydrofoil on fresh water and swimming pools.

The Parrot Hydrofoil minidrone is piloted remotely using Bluetooth, using the FreeFlight 3 application for Smartphones and Tablets. The 550 mAh LiPo battery lasts about 7 minutes, and recharges in about an hour using the supplied built-in USB charger. It can be recharged quickly in 25 minutes using an optional Parrot 2.6A charger. (Not included)

The minidrone can be separated from the hull of the boat, and can fly anywhere in the air smoothly up to 18 km/h, and perform amazing aerobatics such as forward, backward and sideways looping by simply swiping the screen. Choose your favorite Parrot Drone Hyrofoil color from Orak (black) and NewZ (white).

The Hydrofoil NewZ has a 1GB flash memory and an on-board vertical mini-camera (VGA 480x640) that allows you to capture aerial views of the areas flown over when the quadcopter is detached from the boat structure.

To control your Parrot Hydrofoil NewZ minidrone , simply install the FreeFlight 3 app on your compatible device. The Parrot Hydrofoil NewZ minidrone can be maneuvered from your tablet or smartphone using a Bluetooth Smart connection, so you can control it up to 20 m away. The app even lets you program a series of actions.

The user-friendly app has been developed to be easy to use, allowing you to focus on enjoying the game. From the home screen, you can access the following functions: Piloting, photos / videos, and Cloud "Pilot Academy".
