An ultra light and solid chassis:

The featherweight structure in reinforced ABS makes the Parrot Drone Bebop robust and safe. In an emergency, the propellers stop automatically. Emergency mode allows the Drone to land immediately. Thanks to GPS, the Return Home function will allow the Bebop drone to easily return to its take-off point. Finally, the EPP shells are included in the pack and will protect your drone during indoor flights.

The Parrot Drone Bebop offers exceptional performance without sacrificing battery life. The Bebop's on-board computer has a dual-core Parrot P7 CPU, quad-core GPU and 8 GB of Flash memory. All are fixed on a magnesium plate which acts as an electromagnetic shield and as a radiator. Works on Linux with SDK available for developers.

To ensure optimal stability without compromising maneuverability, the Bebop Drone analyzes data from numerous sensors automatically: 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, an ultrasonic sensor with an 8-meter range, a pressure sensor and a vertical camera to follow the speed.

The Absolute Control piloting mode:

A brand new and exclusive piloting mode, patented by Parrot AR Drone, has been integrated for version 2.0. A 180° field of vision:

You can control the camera angle directly from the pilot app with just a flick of your thumb. Switching to a 180° angle is completely digital and independent of the movements of the drone.

Freeflight 3.0: An ultra-intuitive application:

The Drone Bebop Parrot comes with a free pilot application, Freeflight 3.0 for iOS, Android and Windows Phone smartphones and tablets. The user-friendly app has been developed to be easy to use, allowing you to focus on the fun of flying. From the home screen, you can access the following functions: Piloting, photos / videos, flight plan and Cloud "Pilot Academy."

The Freeflight 3.0 application offers all the necessary settings for the user, namely altitude, speed, as well as the piloting mode (accelerometer, virtual joystick, etc.). The FreeFlight app also includes fun features like the Flip button!

Built-in GPS with Flight Map command:

The Bebop Drone integrates a GNSS chipset associated with GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO. Plan your flight plan on your smartphone or tablet by pointing to checkpoints on your screen and let the drone do the work on its own while automatically stabilizing even at high altitude. It can also perform autonomous flights and automatically return to the take-off position. With recorded data such as altitude or speed, you can redo the route which will be modeled in 3D on the Parrot Academy map.

Bebop Drone generates its own Wi-Fi network:

Thanks to the MIMO Wi-Fi connection, the Parrot Bebop Drone has 2 dual-band Wi-Fi antennas that allow it to manage the two 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies in MIMO. It thus generates its own network to the latest Wi-FI 802.11 standards. Depending on the network congestion, you can thus select the frequency of your choice.
