Transform your living room into a gym for the whole family, thanks to Wii Fit and its Wii Balance Board!

The Wii Balance Board looks like a bathroom scale. It's a simple white rectangle that calculates the applied force. It knows when you swing your weight thanks to the pressure sensors and this is done with great precision.

Wii Fit will offer more than 40 types of exercises, designed for all members of the family. Training is divided into four categories:

- Aerobic exercises: 10-minute exercises designed to train your heart.
- Strength training: controlled movements with the arms, legs and other parts of the body.
- Yoga postures: classic postures based on balance and stretching.
- Balance games: fun activities, such as ski jumping and football headers, which require balance from the player.

You can register up to 8 people on the same software. These exercises provide a "core" workout for slower, controlled movements. The daily tests make it possible to measure two elements thanks to progress graphs:

- Body Mass Index (BMI): weight assessment, based on the height/weight ratio.
- Wii Fit Age: Wii Fit Age is measured by user's BMI, center of gravity and with quick balance tests.
