Indeed, the latter uses Mesh technology (or mesh) to create a single and powerful network where each Wifi access point connects to each other transparently. You can add as many as you want (wherever you want: garage, patio, attic, etc.), without ever reducing the speed of your Wi-Fi. Google Wifi automatically selects the best channel and the fastest band for all your devices, so you never lose a crumb of your favorite content.

Google Wifi connects to your Internet box or your modem to replace its router function. One access point is sufficient for accommodations under 85 m². For apartments and houses from 85 to 170 m² it is recommended to use 2 Google Wifi access points. And for more than 170 m², it is advisable to take 3. Each Google Wifi access point has two Gigabit Ethernet ports that can be configured as WAN or LAN. One of the system ports must be used in WAN to connect to your Internet box or your modem.

The Google Wifi* app will allow you to easily configure your connection settings, identify connected devices, perform speed tests and more from anywhere at any time of the day.

You can manage your children's usage schedules by suspending the Wi-Fi connection of their devices whenever you want, for example during meals or at bedtime.
