Les Aventuriers du Rail Europe is the second volume of our famous series Les Aventuriers du Rail, awarded in Germany, France and Japan. More than a new map, this version incorporates new roads (tunnels and ferries), and new game pieces , stations . New large-format playing cards complete this first-class treatment.

Much like its predecessor, Les Aventuriers du Rail , which to date has sold over 320,000 copies worldwide, the game is kept simple, elegant and easy to learn. Les Aventuriers du Rail Europe, is a new game that does not require the first version. If you don't know this game and have never played the original version of Les Aventuriers du Rail, we advise you to get started with the initial version of the game.

But if you want to board our train to cross Europe, here is what you will discover once on board.

New material:

A map of Europe in 1900 , and corresponding destination tickets.
New cards, larger, compatible with the first version , and with new illustrations.

New pieces: the stations .

A new access card number in order to be able to play online, with of course very soon the online version of Les Aventuriers du Rail Europe.

Change of rules:

Long Destination Tickets are now given to each player at the start of the game. There are 6 of them. If the players decide not to keep these tickets, they are then removed from the game for the rest of the game.

Ferries : Crossing the seas around Europe comes at a cost. Each ferry requires the use of at least one locomotive card, as shown on the tracks.

Tunnels : the mountains are quickly traversed as long as one takes the tunnels . Venturing into a tunnel is risky. When trying to go through a tunnel, the player first plays the number of cards of the required color. Then he turns over the top three cards from the deck of Wagon cards.
For each card thus revealed that happens to be the color of the cards used to cross the tunnel, the player must now add a new Wagon card of the same color. Once these are played, the player can take possession of the tunnel.

Stations : this is first of all a new part of the game but also another possible action on your game turn. Each station can be built on a city, in order to be able to use, at the end of the game, the line of an opposing player in order to achieve his destinations. The stations are very useful when you find yourself completely stuck, especially on the map of Europe, which is more difficult than the first American version. However, each unused station earns its owner 4 points at the end of the game.
