The Nintendo Switch is a 2-in-1 hybrid video game console. You can use it as a home console or as a portable console. Simply plug it into your TV. Otherwise, to play elsewhere on the move, simply remove it from its docking station and attach the 2 Joy-Con controllers included.

You are free to choose the way you play thanks to the 3 modes offered by the Nintendo Switch:

• TV mode

  This classic mode uses the screen of your TV connected via HDMI to your docking station.

• table mode

  Install your Nintendo Switch on a flat surface using the built-in kickstand and play with the 2 Joy-Con controllers provided. Play alone or with others wherever you want without the need for a TV. Lend one of the 2 Joy-Con to a friend to join the game.

  The right Joy-Con incorporates an NFC chip to use your Amiibo with compatible games, while the left Joy-Con incorporates a screenshot button to share your best moments.

• Handheld mode

  Attach the 2 Joy-Cons to the 6.2" touchscreen. Then you can take your Nintendo Switch and play indoors or outdoors.

  In table and portable modes, the autonomy will vary between 2h30 and 6h depending on the game. It is for example 3h for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is possible to play while recharging the battery thanks to the integrated USB Type-C port. The mains adapter is included and you can of course use an external battery to extend the autonomy of your Nintendo Switch.

Compete against other players from around the world in online multiplayer via Wi-Fi. You can also play without a Wi-Fi connection thanks to the local mode which allows you to bring together up to 8 players
