One Button Control and Voice Control

Designed to make it easier for you to take videos and photos, use and abuse voice control to ask your GoPro to "take a picture now", when your hands are full. This function allows you to start or stop recording photos or videos without touching any button.

2 inch touchscreen and 10m waterproof
The complete menu is accessible from the 2-inch LCD touch screen in order to configure and view the shots you have recorded. It also allows you to frame your photo or video.
The Hero5 Black camera becomes waterproof up to 10 m deep (without housing yes!). You can use it in all situations, and especially underwater, without worrying about this detail! This feature promotes sound pickup which becomes better. The Hero5 also benefits from a system with wind noise suppression.
4K video, 12 megapixel photo
Capture your adventures with videos in UHD 4K at 30fps, 1440p at 80fps and 1080p at 120fps . The GoPro HERO5 Black camera is also equipped with a 12-megapixel photo sensor capable of burst recording at 30 frames per second.
Integrated stabilizer
Another novelty: the GoPro Hero5 incorporates digital stabilization to make your videos smoother and with less shaking.
Auto Low Light and Linear View Modes
With Auto Low Light Mode, the camera intelligently changes the frame rate based on light conditions for optimal low-light performance.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: a connected camera
The HERO5 Black has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth , allowing you to connect it to the GoPro App and Smart Remote (sold separately). The GoPro App turns your smartphone into a real-time remote, controlling all camera functions and settings and sharing your content via SMS, email, Facebook and more.
RAW photos and GPS chip
The Hero5 Black integrates the recording of your photos in RAW to allow in-depth editing. The WDR capture mode allows you to capture more details in the dark and light tones of the scenes.
The integration of a GPS chip allows you to record and tag the location where your photos and videos are taken.
