Cloud Ready! Ready to use, the TeraStation 3410DN features a fast and easy to use interface. They are also equipped with essential features for your business, such as Active Directory , iSCSI targeting and cloud backup (with Amazon S3, Dropbox or Dropbox for Business) . Equipped with a “ Duplex System Firmware ” (located on the hard disk and the motherboard), it is protected against start-up problems even if one of them presents an anomaly, the second then taking over. RAID and hot-swap functionality ensure business continuity when the user needs to install a new drive. Power-on authentication, disk encryption and the 11 free NovaStor NovaBACKUP (Buffalo Edition) licenses provided also enhance data security.

Replication with TeraStation Replication consists of synchronizing a folder on two different TeraStations, almost in real time. It is one-way, from source to destination, replication is not bi-directional. It is possible to install this function in LAN and WAN. The WAN setup includes a dial-up connection using port forwarding and a VPN setup. A frame with a high-efficiency ventilation system, combined with an easily cleanable dust filter, optimizes the lifespan and reliability of this solution. Additionally, users can take advantage of two GbE ports and two USB 3.0 ports (desktop versions).
